The Athlon 64 FX-60 is out in the lead by a good margin with the Pentium Extreme Edition 955 performing a second faster than the Athlon 64 X2 4400+. The rest of the table is dominated by Intel processors, with all four single core Athlon 64's trailing.

The dual core processors are limited by the speed of our 16-speed LG DVD-ROM drive, but the Athlon 64 FX-60 is bested by both the Pentium Extreme Edition 955 and the Pentium D 950 processors. The FX-60 is five seconds slower than the XE 955.
